Mountainbike enthusisats like to obsess about every little detail. How wide is that particular jump? How high is that drop? How fast is the rider at any given time? Our track analyzer answers all of these questions.

Since 2016 we have built various versions of our Red Bull track analyzer and covered a series of mountainbike events all around the globe. The web application gives the users all the information they need about any given track – a video feed showing the rider’s POV, a realtime interactive 3D-view of the track, an altimeter and details about the various obstacles.

ALWAYS ON THE PULSE OF TIME

The latest version of the Track Analyzer (see video above) is, as always, at the cutting edge of technology: The interactive track map shows the position of each driver in real time during a race – for this purpose, an API was developed that establishes a connection between the client and the live position system of the TV control room. Furthermore, it is possible to compare two different racers with each other.

During a race it was also possible to place a WebAR model of the Erzberg in the living room at home – or wherever – in order to follow the live race data.
